Christmas is a funny old time isn’t it? Lots of mad dashing around for well one day really. Some people adore the sparkle of Christmas, getting together with the family, presents, time off work,mad Friday, tinsel etc etc but for some its very stressful.
Even within a recession some people still feel pressured into maintaining past Christmasses and wind up in debt for the new year. I think its a shame that it has become so commercialised and people have to still keep up with the Joneses.
Of course not everyone is blessed with family to be with which is surely the real meaning of Christmas, being with loved ones and showing appreciation and love for your fellow man. Personally this should be all year round. Lets face it if people showed as much concern all the time the world would be a much nicer place.
I’m spending Christmas day with a friend of mine this year. A nice meal..(prebought and easy to cook!) a few drinks and some crap telly and hopefully a few laughs!
I’ll be available Christmas eve, Christmas day morning up until about 1pm, boxing day from around 2pm (get rid of the hangover first lol) and some of new year so if you fancy a Christmas present to yourself…get in touch!
